About Global Black Farmers Cooperative

Our Story: 5,000+ Years of Heritage

For thousands of years, Africa has been the birthplace of agricultural innovation. From the ancient farming techniques of the Nile Valley to the sophisticated terrace farming of Ethiopia, our ancestors cultivated the land with wisdom passed down through generations.

Today, the Global Black Farmers Cooperative honors this legacy by connecting 2,500+ farmers across 15 countries, combining traditional knowledge with modern sustainable practices and now, comprehensive financial services.

Mission

Connecting African and diaspora farmers worldwide to preserve ancestral agricultural knowledge, promote sustainable practices, and build economic prosperity for Black farming communities through financial inclusion and cooperative strength.

Vision

A world where Black farmers and artisanal miners across Africa and the diaspora thrive economically, preserve their heritage, and lead in sustainable agricultural and mining practices with full access to financial services.
